Some weddings are a day. This one was a weeklong lovefest wrapped in sunshine, laughter, and Caribbean rhythm. From the moment Bryan and I touched down in Punta Cana, we knew we were stepping into something unforgettable. Tammi + Donnie didn’t just plan a wedding—they curated an experience.
From that moment on, the week unfolded like a love story told in chapters: spa days, poolside lounging, musical performances, and laughter that echoed through the resort like a soundtrack to something unforgettable.
Catamarans, Coconuts, and Caribbean Lobster
Midweek, we boarded a catamaran and sailed into the turquoise horizon. The boat stopped at a private island where a man with a machete cracked open coconuts for fresh drinks, and we feasted on Caribbean lobster prepared at a floating restaurant. It was surreal—sunlight dancing on the waves, salt in our hair, and joy in every corner of the boat. It felt like the kind of memory you don’t just photograph—you carry it with you.
Vows Beneath Palm Trees and Dancing into the Night
Their ceremony was framed by turquoise waves and wind-kissed palms, with vows that echoed love and legacy. The reception was vibrant and full of soul—Carnivale performers lit up the dancefloor, the food was unforgettable, and the energy carried us deep into the night. And in true Tammi fashion, she had one more surprise tucked into the celebration: since she and Donnie got married on our first anniversary, she asked the DJ to play Free by Zac Brown Band—our wedding song—and pulled Bryan and me onto the dancefloor for an anniversary dance. It was unexpected, emotional, and one of the most beautiful gifts we’ve ever received.
Halloween PARTY, COSTUMES, and a Balcony Plot Twist
Just when we thought the week couldn’t get more fun, Halloween arrived. The Hard Rock staff put on a dance performance that had everyone cheering, and the costumes? Iconic. Tammi + Donnie as Beetlejuice and Lydia. Bryan in a cape, top hat, and horned mask. I went full raven queen—black cape, feathered mask, and Vegas-level drama. It was wild, hilarious, and so perfectly them.
And then, on their wedding night, a twist: Tammi + Donnie got locked out on their balcony while enjoying the outdoor tub. Stranded for hours. Because even paradise has plot twists—and this one came with laughter, love, and a story they’ll tell forever.
