HEY THERE, PHOTOGRAPHER FRIEND!
Whether you're new to the game or you've had a camera in your hand for a while now... I know how daunting the whole "photography business" thing can be. Sometimes, even when you think you know what you're doing, you can find yourself stuck in a rut where it's easy to lose sight of your vision. I've been there and I want to help! Whatever level you're at, I need you to know that you're exactly where you're supposed to be in this moment. The question is... where do you want to go next?
We all started our photography journey for a reason. Some of us want more freedom with our job, some of us have an huge passion for photography, some of us want to spend more time at home with our families, some of us long for the adventure that photographing new people and places can bring, and some of us just NEED to fulfill that creative urge inside of us. Whatever YOUR reasons is, I want you to hold on to it and use it as the foundation for everything you do going forward. You'll need to come back to the question of "why did I become a photographer?" many times over the course of your career. And, although your attitude and feelings might change over the years, I need you to remember where you came from, why you started, and what keeps you going.
As a photographer of 18 years, I've learned a lot. I have experienced many highs and lows and have gone through many changes. I've adjusted to adapt to the world around me and have always strived to continue learning new things no matter how much I thought I knew. I didn't have the opportunity to have a mentor show me the ropes, so I learned through trial and error and lots & lots of mistakes. I have never been great at the whole "here's instructions, now apply" type of learning. Instead, I like to learn by being shown what to do. That's my approach to teaching as well. That is why I help others on their own journey as often as I can. I LOVE to see others succeed! I absolutely believe in community over competition and always do my best to lift others up so they can shine. I offer a variety of options to help you achieve your goals, however, if there is something else I can help you with that isn't listed, please reach out to me and let me know! I want to see you become fully aware of your potential so you can move along your path to the next level in your business.
No matter which option you choose and what we work on together, I need you to also understand that I appreciate and respect your individuality. I am not here to change you or recreate your image or brand. I'm here to help you grow into a more confident version of yourself. We all have our own unique style and sense of creativity. That's what makes the photography community so wonderful. Diversity is a fantastic thing and I don't want to take away from your own vision in any way. I'm just here to answer your questions, guide you in the right direction, help hone your skills, and sharpen your senses in order to bring out your best. THIS is not about me, my style, or what I like! It's about YOU and what you need/want to learn. I'm not going to sit here and teach you everything about my own process.... I will help you define your own!
Soooo... what's the next step?
